Building on the Legacy

Hall of the Bible

The Hall of the Bible will feature exhibits and classrooms for experiential learning of the Bible and its historical, cultural and linguistic contexts. New technology will allow students to engage in virtual tours of the Temple and study ancient, undocumented papyri and manuscripts. This hall will function as the research core of the campus, featuring high-tech resources, an extensive library with special collections and archives, rare biblical artifacts, and the Green Scholars initiative in the Robert C. Cooley Center for Study of Early Christianity.

Hall of Worship and Spiritual Formation

The current, central building will become the Hall of Worship and Spiritual Formation, featuring the chapel, Center for Disciple-building, and the activities of the Student Life and Spiritual Life Councils. This hall will be enhanced with aesthetic elements conducive to formation, contemplation and renewal.

Hall of Global Mission

The Hall of Global Mission will be enhanced with exhibits and classrooms suited to the mobilization of informed and inspired students for Kingdom work around the world. This third hall, symbolizing our engagement in all contexts of ministry, will include suitable space for seminar-style interaction and group reflection on ministry topics, seminars offered through the Center for the Development of Evangelical Leadership, and missionary training programs run in partnership with area mission agencies. A large assembly space will make it possible to offer community programs such as BibleJourney.
