Ministry Scholarships

Full-tuition scholarship - Partnership Program - Application Deadline for Spring: September 30

The Partnership Program Scholarship

The Partnership Program is a full-tuition scholarship granted to applicants for full-time study.

Available to new, incoming students of all degree programs except the Master of Theology (ThM), the Partnership Scholarship offers a full- tuition scholarship. This scholarship enables students to bring with them the kind of community and prayer support that is so crucial during the seminary years. Students in the Partnership Program participate in financial literacy events and the raising of outside funds.  The Partnership Scholarship may not be combined with other Gordon-Conwell scholarships, with the exception of the Pierce Scholarship. Applicants for the Partnership Scholarship should submit their Partnership Scholarship application by April 15 for the fall semester or September 15 for the spring semester.  This scholarship is renewable each year of full-time study.  Click here to apply.

Billy Graham Scholarship

The Billy Graham Scholarship is a $5,250/year scholarship granted to up to 75 applicants for full-time study each year.

Made possible through the generosity of friends of the Seminary and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, the Graham Scholarship is available to the first 75 new, incoming students each year who commit to full-time study by returning the Agreement form and scholarship deposit included in the acceptance packet. The Billy Graham Scholarship offers $5,250/year (increased as of fall semester 2016) towards tuition and is awarded on a first- come-first-serve basis, so you must act soon. The Billy Graham Scholarship is not combinable with other Gordon-Conwell scholarships, with the exception of the Pierce Scholarship. Available for all degree programs except the Master of Theology (ThM).  This scholarship is renewable each year of full-time study.

Trustee Grant

The Trustee Grant is a $4,500/year scholarship available to qualified applicants for full-time study.

Named in honor of the Seminary's trustees who are committed to reducing the tuition cost for the student, the Trustee is available to new, incoming full-time students who commit to full- time study by returning the Agreement form and scholarship deposit included in your acceptance packet, but do not receive the Graham scholarship and offers $4,500/year towards tuition. The Trustee Grant is not combinable with other Gordon-Conwell scholarships, with the exception of the Pierce Scholarship. Available for all degree programs except the Master of Theology (ThM).  This scholarship is renewable each year of full-time study.

Team Ministry Grant

The Team Ministry Grant is a need-based tuition discount available to married couples who will both be enrolling as full-time degree-seeking students.

The Team Ministry Grant is a need-based scholarship available to qualified married couples who will be enrolling as full-time degree students (7.5 credit hours or more) and who are called to pursue seminary studies together. This scholarship allows for two students to study at Gordon-Conwell with one spouse receiving a fifty percent discount. The scholarship is only awarded to incoming students and is not available after either of you have matriculated (begun studying on- campus) at a Gordon-Conwell campus. A detailed description of current policies for the Team Ministry Grant is available.

Compass Leadership Scholarship

The Compass Scholarship is a $5,500 scholarship available to alumni of Gordon-Conwell's Compass program.

The Compass Scholarship is for students who have participated in Gordon-Conwell’s Compass Program, the seminary’s leadership development program for high school students. The Compass Scholarship is $5,500/year and is renewable for up to three years of full-time study at our South Hamilton campus. Not combinable with other Gordon-Conwell scholarships, with the exception of the Pierce Scholarship. Available for all degree programs except the MA in Counseling. Applicants should indicate on their application that they participated in the Compass program.  This scholarship is renewable each year of full-time study.

For assistance in determining whether a scholarship or Need-Based Grant Aid would best suit your educational goals, please consult our Special Scholarship vs. Per Credit Rate informational form.  Please note that students may not receive both a special scholarship and need-based grant aid and that this form is not applicable to individuals pursuing the Doctor of Ministry degrees.
