Basic Searching

  • This video demonstrates how to perform a few basic searches in WorldCat Discovery.
  • Results can be filtered by Gordon-Conwell Library branches.
  • Searching by library collections is not an available filter.
  • The 'View Online' button will open a link to the full-text article or eBook if available. Some articles are available from multiple databases. Clicking 'View Online' will open the first database within the item record. You can also open the item record to view and select from available databases.

  • When additional databases are selected from the advanced search their database names will be located in the side menu with the option to display results only from that database.
