2018 Commencement Weekend Schedule and Speakers

Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary’s Charlotte campus is looking forward honoring our 2018 graduates.  Below is a schedule of upcoming events and activities:

Graduate Cookout

Date: Friday, May 18
Time: 12:00-2:00 p.m.
Location: Charlotte campus (14542 Choate Circle – Charlotte, NC)

Baccalaureate Serice

Date: Friday, May 18
Time: 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Location: Forest Hill Church (7224 Park Road – Charlotte, NC)
Speaker: Dr. Rodney Cooper (bio).  Dr. Cooper is the Kenneth and Jean Hansen Professor of Discipleship and Leadership Development at Gordon-Conwell Charlotte.  He also directs the M.A. in Christian Leadership Program.

Commencement

Date: Saturday, May 19
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: Forest Hill Church (7224 Park Road – Charlotte, NC)
Speaker: Rev. Dr. Sam Whan Kim.  Rev. Dr. Kim is the Founder and Pastor Emeritus of Myungsung Presbyterian Church (Seoul, South Korea), the largest Presbyterian congregation in the world.
