Center for the Study of Global Christianity Cited in Washington Post & New York Times

With yesterday’s unexpected announcement of Pope Benedict XVI’s resignation, the Center was contacted to provide statistical information on trends in the Catholic Church over the last 50–100 years. Maps reflecting the information appear in today’s print and online versions of both publications.
Gordon-Conwell’s Center for the Study of Global Christianity is one of the foremost sources of empirical information on Christianity, and its World Christian Database provides comprehensive statistical information on world religions, Christian denominations and people groups.
