Creation Care: Serving God, Saving the Planet

February 26, 2013

“What is the biggest problem facing the world today?” When Dr. Matthew Sleeth’s wife asked him this question, he had no idea it would change the entire course of his life. He left his position as chief of the medical staff and director of the ER at a large New England hospital and began teaching, preaching and writing about faith and the environment. He and his wife founded Blessed Earth, an educational nonprofit that inspires and equips Christians to become better stewards of the earth.

Dr. Sleeth will be speaking at Gordon-Conwell a number of times throughout the week. Come hear his story and discover why stewardship of the earth really matters—why we need to care not only for souls, but also for our planet.
