Dr. Johnson Speaks on Persecution in the 21st Century

Dr. Todd M. Johnson, Associate Professor of Global Christianity and Director of the Center for the Study of Global Christianity at Gordon-Conwell, speaks on “The Changing Face of Persecution in the 21st Century” for Family Research Council (FRC) University.

Sharing findings from a recent research project on freedom and the Christian faith, he says, “The persecutors and the persecuted have changed dramatically in the last 100 years.” Dr. Johnson addresses who the persecutor and the persecuted are, what has changed over the last 100 years, and what is likely to happen in the future.

Dr. Johnson is co-author of The World's Religions in Figures (Wiley-Blackwell) and the World Christian Encyclopedia (Oxford University Press) and co-editor of the Atlas of Global Christianity (Edinburgh University Press).
