Introducing the New Master of Arts in Christian Ministries

April 24, 2014

Gordon-Conwell has been preparing men and women for Christian service for more than 100 years. In keeping with its tradition of excellence in academic and ministry preparation, Gordon-Conwell announces a new degree program benefitting students from diverse ministry callings and contexts—the Master of Arts in Christian Ministries (MACM).

The new 61-credit hour MACM degree program, which will begin in the fall of 2014, combines substantial biblical and theological learning with flexible ministry training for a variety of roles inside and outside of the church. The program can completed at a distance with low-residency requirements or at the Charlotte campus in as few as two (2) years full-time or three (3) years part-time.

With the MACM’s integrative theological education providing an academic and practical ministry foundation for multiple disciplines, MACM students are prepared to enter or continue in a wide-range of vocations including, but limited to:

  • Pastors or church leaders
  • Para-church or non-profit leaders and staff
  • Missionaries or teachers
  • Marketplace leaders or community organizers
