Department of Lutheran Studies to Host Reformation Conference

The Department of Lutheran Studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary—Charlotte is pleased to announce that the "Michael C. D. McDaniel Lecture Series: Reformation Conference" will be held on Thursday, October 31 at the seminary and Christ Lutheran Church in Charlotte.

The conference, which is open to all, will begin at 12:30 p.m. at Gordon-Conwell—Charlotte and will feature lectures on the theme of “Ecclesia Plantanda” by Rev. Dr. J. Larry Yoder and Dr. David S. Yeago.

The evening portion of the conference will begin with a Carolina Barbecue Dinner at 5:30 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church located at 4519 Providence Road in Charlotte. The event will conclude at Christ Lutheran Church with Reformation Worship and Inaugural Service for the Department of Lutheran Studies beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Bishop John Bradosky preaching and Rev. Dr. Scott Suskovic presiding.
