Faculty in the News: Dr. Don Fairbairn

September 7, 2016

Dr. Donald Fairbairn (Ph.D in Patristics, University of Cambridge) is the Robert E. Cooley Professor of Early Christianity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary-Charlotte and part-time professor at Evangelische Theologische Faculties in Leuven, Belgium. His books include: "Grace and Christology in the Early Church," "Eastern Orthodoxy Through Western Eyes," and "Life in the Trinity."

In this interview, Dr. Fairbairn and I discuss what union with Christ is, what it is not, and why union with Christ matters. We touch on sin in relation to our union with Christ and how suffering shows forth our union with wounded body of Jesus Christ.
