Equip and Renew conference at Charlotte campus in January

The Metrolina Baptist Association and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary invite you to attend the MidWinter Conference for Equipping & Renewal, to be held on Gordon-Conwell’s Charlotte campus January 26, 2010.

This conference is designed for lay leaders, pastors, shepherds and all ministry staff who feel the need for a “recharge” of their spiritual battery and a honing of their ministry skills by a day of excellent teaching and practical application.

Topics offered will include a leadership workshop on conflict management led by the widely known Rod Cooper and a look at the Great Commission’s theological foundation (with modern application) by former Southern Baptist missionary and theology professor Alan Myatt. An additional workshop will be offered by counselor/marriage therapist Kelly Breen Boyce on when to counsel and when to refer.
