Qualities of a Compass Candidate

A passion for God - Does the candidate have an evident love for God?
A heart for service -
Does the candidate show love towards others in tangible ways?
A life of integrity -
Does the candidate live a life that honors God in all areas?
An ability to lead -
Can the candidate take charge in situations that demand leadership?
A sense of calling to Christian service - Does the candidate feel drawn to Christian ministry?


Nominating a Young Leader

If you believe a young person in your congregation is being called to ministry, we encourage you to take the following steps:

1. Pray, pray, pray for the Lord's insight.
2. Talk with other members of the congregation for confirmation or recommendations of another student.
3. Let the young person know your observations about God's leading in their life. Ask them if they would be interested in the program.
4. Download an application, which includes a nomination form for you to fill out, an application for the student to fill out, and reference forms.
5. Return these forms to:
