Christian Care and Counseling
The concentration in Christian Care and Counseling is designed for those men and women who are called to walk alongside those in crisis or distress. This program does not lead to licensure. Courses in the Christian Counseling degree program cover topics such as: introduction to counseling, pastoral care, family systems theory, and cross-cultural counseling.
This Christian Counseling degree is ideal for those involved in:
- Stephen Ministry
- Recovery ministries (divorce recovery, addiction recovery, etc.)
- Family life ministries
- Youth/Young Adult ministries (such as Young Life or Campus Crusade)
- Healing ministries
- Shelter ministries (homeless, battered women)
- Helping professions (such as nursing, social work, pregnancy centers)
- Hospice
- Corporate chaplaincy
