Institute for the Study of the Black Christian Experience
Guided by the desire to share with the global church the powerful testimony, rich heritage and dynamic distinctives of the collective Black Christian Experience across the many denominations of the Black Church, the Institute for the Study of the Black Christian Experience (ISBCE) aims to engage in the theological formation of seminarians, pastors & activists; encourage research and scholarship by faculty and institute fellows; stimulate interactive dialogue locally, regionally, nationally and internationally; and empower educational opportunities through lectures, forums and symposia.

We are looking for 5 full-time GCTS students who demonstrate a commitment to the study of the Black Christian Experience globally and/or to the work of race relations and
reconciliation. ISBCE Scholars receive a 50% tuition discount.
