About the Author
Garth M. Rosell is professor of history at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. He is the author of The Surprising Work of God: Billy Graham, Harold John Ockenga and the Rebirth of Evangelicalism (Baker Academic, 2008), Boston's Historic Park Street Church: The Story of an Evangelical Landmark (Kregel, 2009), the co-editor (with Richard A.G. Dupuis) of The Memoirs of Charles G. Finney: The Complete Restored Text (Zondervan, 1989), the co-editor (with Ronald C. White, Jr. and Louis B.
