Semlink at Gordon-Conwell Theological SeminaryStaff

The Semlink staff is responsible for the administrative side of your Semlink experience. These fine folks handle registration, course materials and exam requests, and they receive and process all paperwork, including assignments, reading reports and special projects. They are available in the Semlink office during business hours (9 am to 12 pm, 1pm to 4 pm E.S.T.) Monday through Friday.

The Director

Dr. David HornDr. David Horn

Director, The Harold John Ockenga Institute and Semlink Distance Education Program
As director of the Ockenga Institute, Dr. Horn oversees a variety of academic programs for pastors, lay leaders, alumnae/i, and distance learners. Dr. Horn is an ordained Congregational minister (CCCC) and lives in South Hamilton, MA. with his wife Cec. He and his wife have two children and one child-in-law. He is an avid runner as well as furniture refinisher. He is also an active member at his church, First Congregational Church, Hamilton, MA. Dr. Horn has a masters degree in English literature, M.Div from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and his Th.D in Sociology of Religion and Practical Theology from Boston University.

Mary KrauseMary Krause

Assistant Director, Semlink Distance Education Program
Mary supervises everything from course registration to the Semlink Teaching Fellow program. She comes to Gordon-Conwell from Seattle, Washington, where she grew up and attended Puget Sound Christian College, completing a B.A. in Biblical Research. She has recently graduated from GCTS with her M.Div. and M.A. in Biblical Languages and currently helps out with music at North Point EPC in Peabody. Mary loves to cook, especially for friends, and thoroughly enjoys the study of dead languages.

Brian FlemingBrian Fleming

Coordinator for Registration and Courseware Development
Brian helps with student registrations and oversees the development of new Semlink courses. He comes to Gordon-Conwell originally from Texas, where he attended Texas A&M University. Brian completed his M.Div from Gordon-Conwell and is currently a M.Ed. candidate at Boston College. He lives in Wenham, MA where his wife Laura works as an Assistant Resident Director at Gordon College.

Tae-Jin KimTae-Jin Kim

Coordinator, Courseware Production and Ockenga Resources
Tae-Jin coordinates all phases of media production related to Semlink and the Harold John Ockenga Institute, including video, audio, and web-based media. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Boston University and recently completed the M.Div program at Gordon-Conwell. Tae-Jin resides in on the North Shore of Boston.
