Matthew Niermann
Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary
Semlink Teaching Fellow for Applied Ministry
Biographical Information:
Matthew Niermann came to Gordon-Conwell from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned a BS of Architectural Studies and a Masters of Architecture and then served for three years as a Visiting Professor of Architectural Design. Over the past six years, his work at the junction of architecture and philosophy has allowed him to teach and administer courses in America, Asia and Europe. Concurrently, Matthew earned an MA of Christian Apologetics from BIOLA University and is now working toward his Master of Divinity degree at Gordon-Conwell.
Through his time in academia and abroad, Matthew has developed a heart for the intersection of theological higher education and missions, and the intersection between beauty and apologetics.
When the office door closes, Matthew is married to a wonderful woman—Crystal—and is enjoying the challenges of raising two small children—Alana and Graham
