Biographical Information:
Jairus grew up in a military family, where both his father and mother were in the Army. He has lived in Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Germany, and North and South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 2011 from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Following his undergraduate work, he served as a Fund for Theological Education Pastoral Intern for The Park Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, and he taught briefly before attending Gordon-Conwell.
Jay is currently a second-year M.Div student at the Hamilton campus of Gordon-Conwell. He hopes to serve in a pastoral role upon graduating and pursue a doctoral degree.
