Gordon-Conwell continues to develop ways of serving its international community.
- The Pre-Arrival Packet, which is sent to every international student following the issuance of the I-20, provides information to help in preparation for coming to New England and to the campus.
- F-1 visa must students submit a housing application by April
1 to be given priority for assignment for Fall semester housing or November
1 for Spring semester. After these deadlines, on-campus housing cannot
be guaranteed.
- All international students are welcomed at the airport by a current student or a member of Student Life Services.
- Orientation to campus life begins the day of arrival by assisting students to obtain such items as social security numbers, bank accounts and drivers' licenses.
- In addition to the general seminary orientation, a specially designed orientation is provided for all international students and their families.
- Fellowship opportunities are available for single and married international students.
- International wives have opportunities for encouraging times of fellowship, learning and service.
- All community activities are available to the international community, including a special campus wide International Dinner.
