Biography:
Dr. David Palmer holds a PhD in New Testament backgrounds from the Hebrew Union College. His doctoral dissertation focused on the role of Scripture in shaping a godly life and was entitled “Judaic Paideia: the Philosophical Argument and Use of Scripture in 4 Maccabees.” He received his Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He was immeasurably blessed during his seminary years where he learned to read the Scriptures with God at the center, to taste the sweetness of the original languages, and to discover God’s plan of redemption in Jesus Christ.  At Gordon-Conwell, he also met his beloved, godly, and learned wife Dr. Christine Palmer, who teaches Old Testament at the seminary. Together they have two children who attend Gordon College.

Dr. Palmer is a pastor-scholar with a deep love for the bride of Christ. He serves as Senior Pastor of Kenwood Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, with a remarkable staff team. Kenwood is an intergenerational and international congregation with more than twenty native languages. He enjoys speaking at retreats and conferences, and has been privileged to help lead mission teams in South America, Asia, North Africa, and the Middle East. He is involved with leading teams of pastors and seminary students with Training Leaders International (TLI) to Athens, Greece offering theological training to ethnic leaders.  He and his wife Christine regularly lead archaeological study tours in Israel, Turkey, and Greece.
