How do I register for my course?
You can register on the electronic registration form for auditors by clicking here.
Additionally, if you did not enter your social security number in the application portal, please use this link to schedule an Application Update phone call with an Admissions Representative to update your information.
Can I see a syllabus for a specific course?
Yes! Click here to see a list of courses available for audit. Click on a specific course to see the syllabus. You can learn more about various course sections, digital residency dates, and the requirements of each course.
How do I get my username and password?
You should receive an email within 3-5 business days after receiving your accept letter with a username and temporary password. If you do not receive this email, please contact [email protected] and they will assist you with the process.
I am an alumnus. Will I receive a password, or do I need to do something different?
You will not receive an email with a system generated password. You will need to email [email protected] and tell them that you are a new student in need of a password reset. Please include your student ID.
How much does an official audit cost? When will I be billed?
An official audit is $350 for the Fall 2020 semester. You can click here to learn more about billing and payment due dates.
Where do I see information about my course?
We use a learning management system called Canvas. You can use your GCTS username and password to log in here.
I’ve logged into Canvas, but I don’t see anything. Am I signed up for the course?
Your course should show up once you register for the course within 24-48 hours. Sometimes a course will no be released for student viewing until the day that a course begins. Don’t worry if your course isn’t showing up in Canvas. However, if you still are unable to access the course in Canvas by the first day of courses, please contact [email protected] for assistance.
What are the rules for when I audit a course?
Auditors are restricted to non-participating member status in the classroom. In other words, auditors may not participate in class discussion (except as authorized by the instructor according to the terms included in the course syllabus), nor submit written work or sit for exams for the purpose of receiving an evaluation.
