Since its founding, Gordon-Conwell has educated men and women for Christian service throughout the world. In this tradition, we provide not only the practical tools needed for effective ministry, but also the rigorous academic preparation necessary to shape the mind for biblically faithful service in contemporary society.
The educational resources at Gordon-Conwell are abundant, the core of which are our world-class faculty and degree programs. Additional educational opportunities include:
- Multiple Sites
Hamilton students may take as many classes as they like at our inner city campus in Boston (CUME), which is focused on urban ministry. Students at each campus may also take courses at any of the other three campuses.
- Boston Theological Institute
The BTI is one of the largest academic theological consortia in the world. Gordon-Conwell students can take classes at any of the member schools, including Harvard Divinity School and the Boston University School of Theology. Students also have access to the libraries, major lectureships and conferences of these member schools.
- Distance Education
Students may take up to one-third of their degree program through our award-winning Semlink program. Semlink courses may also be taken for personal enrichment.
- Study Abroad Programs
Our global education program offers numerous opportunities to take classes in context all over the world.
- Gordon-Conwell Libraries
The seminary’s four libraries contain more than a quarter million books, participate in interlibrary loan systems and offer access to a number of academic databases and resources.

“What I found at Gordon-Conwell exceeded my high expectations. The faculty are phenomenal. My classes were never dry and pedantic but were permeated with a life and vitality that grew out of my professors’ walk with God.”
Paul Niednagel, M.Div. ’05, Taiwan
