The Les Comee Scholarship Fund is designed to support and encourage individuals serving the church through youth ministry as they seek to earn a Master’s degree.
The award is based primarily on the assessment of applicant’s need, desire and aptitude by
a small board of individuals. The primary vehicle for this assessment will be a series of
short essays written by the applicant (see below).
Awards will be granted in the Fall, and will cover the tuition of one course in each term
of the academic year awarded (Fall, Spring, Summer). Recipients must be enrolled in at
least 2 courses per semester for the award to apply. Scholarship renewal for subsequent
academic years will be based on faculty recommendation.
Application for scholarship will include:
- Scholarship essays
- Statement on career objectives
- Statement on financial need
