While the Gospel message has remained the same, the youth culture context in which that message must be communicated is one that is changing at breakneck speed. The landscape in which we do evangelism and discipleship of youth has changed. Today’s children and teens face new challenges, choices, pressures, and expectations. Those who minister to and parent the emerging generations are called by God to work together to lead kids into an understanding of what it means to follow Jesus in every nook and cranny of life. . . including all the new and unique aspects of growing up in today’s youth culture.
Youth workers, parents, pastors, and educators are invited to join youth ministry specialists Duffy Robbins and Walt Mueller, along with well-known New England youth leaders, for a day of practical and hope-filled youth ministry and parent training.
Dr. Walt Mueller is the founder and President of the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding and has been working with young people and families for over 35 years. The Center for Parent/Youth Understanding is a nonprofit organization committed to building strong families by serving to bridge the cultural-generational gap between parents and teenagers.
