For Matriculated Students

What should you expect to receive within 24-72 hours of receiving your matriculation letter?

  • A system-generated email sent to your personal email address with your Gordon-Conwell student account name, email address, and a temporary password
    • FYI: some email servers automatically sort these messages into your spam folder. If you do not see it in your inbox, check spam!
  • A follow-up email from the Assistant Director of Admissions with a quick guide for updating your password and accessing your student portals
  • An email from your Student Care Representative with a Welcome Packet and a request to schedule your Welcome Call.

What should you do next?

  • Change your password! (Check out our video tutorial!)
  • Request your GCTS student ID card.
  • Apply for financial aid.
  • Contact your degree adviser to introduce yourself.
  • Continue getting familiar with calendars, schedules, and courses.
  • Schedule your Welcome Call with your Student Care Representative.
  • Complete Online New Student Orientation: Getting Started.
  • Learn more about the Charlotte campus and your degree program.
  • Make sure you can access your student portals: email, Canvas, and CAMS.
  • Bookmark our IT Service Desk webpage!
    • Our IT Service Staff will be able to assist you with any issues you encounter with accessing your student portals or our course technology.
  • Register for Courses! What can you do through CAMS online?
    • Add and drop classes
    • Pay tuition
    • Check grades
    • Update your personal information in our records (address, email address, phone number, etc.)
