Financial Aid - Boston

Gordon-Conwell--Boston is pleased to offer its courses at a reduced rate to assist as many urban Christian leaders as possible in their theological education. The primary purpose of this financial aid is to assist  students who could not otherwise benefit from the educational preparation offered by Gordon-Conwell. At the same time, the seminary emphasizes the responsibility of the student and/or the student's family to provide the primary source of funds.

The second form of financial aid at Gordon-Conwell-Boston is federal student loans. Federal student loans for graduate students are unsubsidized -- meaning that interest begins as the student receives the loan. Repayment is not required until six months after a students graduates, takes a leave of absence, or shifts to less than half-time study. Questions pertaining to scholarships and federal student loans should be directed to the Admissions Office.

We suggest that students look for outside funding sources through their church, denomination or other charitable organizations for educational scholarships and grants. Students may research other sources on the internet. The Admissions Office will also make every effort to help students identify other sources of assistance.
