If you accept a student loan as part of your financial aid offer, you must complete entrance counseling before we can release your loan to you. This counseling is done online and takes 20-30 minutes. The entrance counseling is designed to inform you about your rights and obligations as a student borrower.
Direct Loan Entrance Counseling
If you have a federal student loan, you will also be required to complete exit counseling when you: graduate, attend less than half-time, withdraw.
Like entrance counseling, exit counseling is done online. Exit counseling provides repayment information including payment plan options.
To review your student loan history, find current balances, or find contact information for your loan servicer, log into your Federal Student Aid account with your FAFSA ID.
If you have questions as you complete the counseling requirements, use the help features on the counseling page or contact the Financial Aid Office at (978) 646-4018 or [email protected].
