Dr. Eun Ah Cho
Title: Dean of the Gordon-Conwell Institute and Associate Professor of Intercultural Studies

Biography:
Dr. Cho comes from the School of Intercultural Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary where she was Assistant Professor of Intercultural Leadership. She had been teaching in both the Korean and English language programs. Previously Dr. Cho taught in Korea at the Asian Center for Theological Studies and Mission where she taught intercultural studies and the Bible and Christian mission.
Prior to that, Dr. Cho and her husband trained new Christian leaders and planted a multicultural church in Kokshetau, Kazakhstan. In this context she used Russian, Korean and English languages.
Dr. Cho did her undergraduate studies in St. Petersburg, Russia at the Russian State Pedagogical University where she majored in Russian philology. She did both her masters’ and doctoral work in the School of World Mission at Fuller Theological Seminary. Her family is from Korea, but she was raised mostly in Canada.
She is a seasoned missionary who will oversee the planning and coordination of all of our centers under the Ockenga Institute. She will be the first Korean woman on the President’s cabinet and will help in our ministry to Korean churches, both in Korea and the United States. She is not only a scholar and creative leader, but also a poet who has penned one of the most popular Korean praise songs: 하나님의 은혜 (Hananimui Eunhye: “Grace of God”).”

Rose Redington
Title: Executive Assistant, Gordon-Conwell Institute

Areas of Interest: Intercultural Studies, Ethnic Studies, Women’s Studies, Peacebuilding, and Identity Formation/Development
Biography:
Rose has a professional work history of serving in administrative and student services roles in diverse higher education contexts including the World Missions & Intercultural Studies Department at Dallas Theological Seminary; the Women’s Studies & American Ethnic Studies Departments and the Office of International Programs at Kansas State University; the School of Engineering Education at Purdue University; and the Office of the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at Rice University. She has actively contributed to building best practices in higher education administration and student services through collaborative partnerships in national and international professional associations such as the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA), the Association of International Educators (NAFSA), and the Forum on Education Abroad.
Rose was raised in the Midwestern U.S. and has lived in several different states. She has worked, studied, and traveled in North Africa, East Asia, Central America, and Western Europe. She has held a variety of leadership roles within diverse faith communities, and she appreciates opportunities to build bridges and foster harmonious relationships between people from different backgrounds. Rose enjoys community building and is passionate about creating spaces that are welcoming and promote inclusivity and belonging. She enjoys researching and engaging in a variety of interests including Celtic spirituality, mysticism, spiritual companioning, expressive arts, travel, and contemplative practices. She is a curious explorer on a lifelong quest in search of truth, beauty, and goodness.
