Dr. Christine Palmer Contributes to New ESV Expository Commentary and Will Speak at Telos Conference
Dr. Christine Palmer
Part of the ESV Expository Commentary series, this volume features passage-by-passage commentary on the books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers and, according to the publisher, takes “a biblical-theological and broadly Reformed approach in interpreting and applying the text.” Dr. Palmer and three other scholars explain doctrines, highlight portions often overlooked, and provide life and ministry applications.
Additionally, Dr. Palmer is a featured speaker at the Third Annual Telos Bible and Theology Conference in Jacksonville, Florida, Oct. 17–18, along with her husband, Dr. David Palmer, adjunct professor of New Testament, and Dr. Adonis Vidu, Andrew Mutch Distinguished Professor of Theology. The conference will focus on the doctrine of the Trinity, exploring the revelation of the Triune God throughout the Scriptures, in celebration of the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea.
Leveraging the teaching resources of the seminary, this annual conference gathers scholars around key topics in the areas of Biblical Studies and Theology and is for the whole Church: pastors, leaders, and laypeople.
