With heavy hearts, we share that alumna Joyce Lin (M.Div. ’17) died in a plane crash yesterday while serving as a pilot and IT specialist with Mission Aviation Fellowship. Joyce, who is also a graduate of MIT, was delivering COVID-19 supplies to a remote village in Papua. Through her love of Christ and aviation, Joyce was helping to transform the lives of isolated people. As we thank God for her faithful service, we pray for His comfort over all who mourn her loss. We also pray that God gives renewed strength to all those serving on the mission field during this time.
