The Master of Divinity degree is our primary degree, enrolling the majority of students preparing for professional ministry. The purpose of this degree is to provide leadership for the worldwide church by educating students in the classic disciplines of theological training -- Hebrew and Greek language competency, biblical exegesis, theological constructs, historical perspectives, and ministry skills. Master of Arts (Academic) |

The Academic Master of Arts degrees are intended for students who desire knowledge in a particular field and are not planning to enter into pastoral ministry. Typically, individuals enrolled in these programs plan to pursue university doctoral studies, usually in areas other than Bible and Theology, or to serve as teachers or Christian leaders in other professions. All academic Master of Arts degree programs have a language requirement. |

The Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation degree is designed for those who wish to provide spiritual formation for individuals or groups through counseling, spiritual direction, teaching, church programs and worship. The degree is also designed for lay persons seeking a deeper walk with Jesus Christ; staff in college ministries and other para-church organizations who desire to help spiritually form those whom they serve; those trained in psychotherapy or pastoral counseling who wish to integrate spiritual formation with their counseling; and those hoping to pursue doctoral studies in Christian Spirituality.
