Master of Divinity
The M.Div. degree is our primary degree, enrolling the majority of students preparing for professional ministry. The purpose of this degree is to provide leadership for the worldwide church by educating students in the classic disciplines of theological training -- Hebrew and Greek language competency, biblical exegesis, theological constructs, historical perspectives, and ministry skills. Master of Arts (Academic)
The Academic Master of Arts degrees are intended for students who desire knowledge in a particular field and are not planning to enter into pastoral ministry. Typically, individuals enrolled in these programs plan to pursue university doctoral studies, usually in areas other than Bible and Theology, or to serve as teachers or Christian leaders in other professions. All academic Master of Arts degree programs have a language requirement.

Master of Arts in Educational Ministries is for those pursuing leadership in various educational ministries of the church and para-church organizations.  Find out more.
Master of Arts in World Missions and Evangelism (MAME)      
Master of Arts in World Missions and Evangelism is for those who are called vocationally to ministry in intercultural situations where the M.Div. is not needed. Concentrations include Islamic Studies, Church Planting, Cross-Cultural Teaching and General Track. MAME students are also required to complete two units of a biblical, research or foreign language. Master of Arts in Counseling is for those who wish to prepare themselves for positions as mental health counselors or marriage and family therapists, or to prepare for further studies in psychology.

This degree is the most flexible of all the seminary's programs, with six courses dedicated to a student's area of concentration combined with courses in biblical studies, christian thought and practical ministry. The Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Christian Counseling dual degree offered by Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary-Charlotte is a master's level program intended to prepare students for pastoral ministry, as well as counseling ministry in a variety of pastoral and clinical settings. The Master of Theology is an advanced academic degree that requires the M.Div. as a prerequisite, and may be regarded as an additional year of preparation for Christian ministry beyond the M.Div. or as preparation for advanced study. Find out more.
Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.)  
The highest professional degree, the Doctor of Ministry is for men and women already successfully engaged in ministry. It is taught in a cohort model with specialty tracks. Find out more.
A.J. Gordon Guild      
The A.J. Gordon Guild is a doctoral level support and study program in relationship with London School of Theology that includes mentoring, peer support, guidance on academic writing skills, research direction and supervision, resource counsel, guidance in the composition of theses, instruction in the art of developing lectures, and participation in practical classroom experience in the art of teaching in the area of homiletics.
