Learn about this theological consortium, including Harvard Divinity School, Boston College and Boston University.
Gordon-Conwell was founded in 1969 in Hamilton, MA, to be an interdenominational, evangelical seminary dedicated to equipping students for “all facets of gospel outreach.” Our founders were famed evangelist Rev. Billy Graham; Dr. Harold John Ockenga, pastor of Boston’s historic Park Street Church; and philanthropist J. Howard Pew.
The original Hamilton campus is now our main campus among four, educating a vibrant and diverse student body of more than 900 students from 73 denominations and 42 foreign countries. It offers a wide variety of master's and doctoral degrees. Its master's degrees are offered on a full-time, residential model and provide students with a classical theological education, the opportunity for deep spiritual formation and an emphasis on global engagement and practical training. Its faculty have an international reputation in the areas of biblical studies, ministry and theology.
The campus remains committed to our founders’ vision and advances our goal of training students to think theologically, engage globally and live biblically wherever they are called.
