Housing

The decision to pursue a seminary education is an important one, and the Housing Office is available and committed to assist you with your housing needs and what for many of you will be a transition to a new climate.

Located on Boston’s historic North Shore, the Hamilton campus of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary is situated on a beautiful hill in the midst of an 118-acre property.

Our Mission

The role of the Housing Office is to support the mission of the seminary through the provision of student housing. To this end, we seek to create a diverse and supportive living environment and to provide an affordable and Christ-centered community, which enables students to grow spiritually, physically, interpersonally, and academically.

Dormitories

There are three dormitories on campus – two for men and one for women. Dormitory rooms for single students include large and small single rooms and double rooms, which are shared by two students. All dormitory students will receive 345 meal points, which can be used in the dining hall for breakfast or lunch. If you are interested in dormitory housing, please click below for the application.

Apartments

There are 175 apartments available on campus. The apartments (studio, one, two, and three bedrooms in six campus buildings) are unfurnished. Each apartment is equipped with a stove and refrigerator. (Depending on availability, apartments are available for new students the first week of May for Summer/Fall and the first week of January for Spring.) Please click below for the application.

Guest Housing

Gordon-Conwell offers a limited number of on-campus Guest Housing options to seminary-affiliated guests. From single guest rooms to fully-furnished guest apartments, the spaces are convenient, clean, and offer great value.  These spaces are reserved on a first come-first serve basis, pending availability. Eligibility

Full-time students are eligible to apply for on-campus apartment housing. Part-time, degree-seeking students also are eligible to apply for housing, and their applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Priority will be given to full-time students. Certain restrictions may apply. New students who are on special scholarship will be given assignment priority for on-campus housing. Housing is only available on the Hamilton Campus.
