A Supporting Ligament to Serve the Centers
of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary

The Harold John Ockenga Institute

Named after Gordon-Conwell’s first president, The Harold John Ockenga Institute at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary was founded over 35 years ago to serve and equip God’s missionary people for the renewal of the Church and its faithful participation in God’s mission. Learn more about the history, mission, staff, and centers of the Ockenga Institute in the video below.

To meet the opportunities arising in the twenty-first century, the Ockenga Institute will soon be re-launched as Gordon-Conwell Institute (GCI), with a renewed mission to deliver exceptional micro-learning experiences to learners to equip them with specific practical skills to do Kingdom work around the world.
