Our vision at Gordon-Conwell is to equip leaders for church and society by training them to think theologically, engage globally and live biblically wherever they are called. The following commitments undergird this vision and provide our students with a transformational, culturally engaged educational experience:
Rigorous academics; practical training
We are committed to both academic excellence and practical application, combining challenging classes taught by renowned professors with a mentoring program in a local ministry. In addition, many of our faculty have experience in workplace, church, parachurch and mission contexts, and incorporate this practical experience into their teaching.
Through the Pierce Center for Disciple-Building and other resources, we challenge students to continually deepen their walks with Christ. Our emphasis on small group discipleship and spiritual formation encourages students to grow spiritually as they train academically and practically for ministry.
Authentic, diverse community
Our culturally and denominationally diverse community allows students to build relationships with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and opinions. Students learn and grow together in a vibrant, multidenominational environment.
Gordon-Conwell remains committed to training leaders for the global Church. Through the Wilson Center for World Missions, Overseas Missions Practicums and our diverse environment, speakers and special events, we emphasize the global Church and our students' roles in it.
