Transcripts - Gordon Conwell

Requirements

Before your application is reviewed, our admissions team must receive transcripts from all colleges/universities attended, even if the classes were transferred to another school and are reflected on their transcripts.

Official transcripts must be sent directly from all colleges and institutions of higher education attended to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.  You must request that each institution send an official transcript of academic work to the Admissions Office at Gordon-Conwell.

Please refer to the table below to see the GPA requirements for your degree as well as the highest level of education required.

GPA Requirements

Degree GPA Requirement Highest Level of Education Required
MDiv, MACM, MAGL 2.5 Bachelor’s Degree
MATS, MACC, MACO 3.0 Bachelor’s Degree
ThM 3.0 MDiv or a theological master’s degree
PhD 3.7 MDiv or equivalent; ThM desired. MDiv equivalency to be determined by the PhD Committee on a student-to-student basis.

How to Send Transcripts

Transcripts may be sent by any means your college(s) uses for transmitting official transcripts, but must be delivered (mail or email) directly to Gordon-Conwell, or hand-delivered in a sealed envelope. Copies and opened transcripts are not considered official.

Official electronic transcripts are accepted. Applicants may request electronic transcripts using the following email: [email protected].

Parchment

Gordon-Conwell is a partner school of PARCHMENT. If your college uses this service for transmitting electronic transcripts, search for and have the transcripts sent to “Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.”

International Applicants

International applicants who may experience difficulty in requesting or receiving official transcripts from international institutions should contact the Admissions team for further instruction.
