Homecoming - Gordon-Conwell — Alumni

Hamilton Homecoming

Celebrating our Stories and the Impact
of the Hamilton Campus

June 2 & 3, 2023  |  September 29 & 30, 2023

We are excited to invite you to come back to Gordon-Conwell to remember, celebrate, and give thanks!

These two identical celebrations will offer a chance for you to spend time on the Hamilton campus again and gather here with friends who were important in your time in seminary.

The events will make space for you, together with your fellow alumni and past and present faculty and staff, to share memories and stories of your time on campus, celebrate how God has been present in this place, and give thanks for the lasting impact of Gordon-Conwell, and your time on this campus in particular.

We hope you can join us in September! Registration is open until August 25.

FAQs

What does the registration cost include?

  • The cost of registration is $50 for each adult and $25 for each child 6 and older (children 5 and under are free).
  • All meals and snacks during the events, faculty seminars, and all other activities are included.

  • If the cost of this event would prevent you from participating, please email us at [email protected], as we have some funds available to help with this.

Can I stay on campus?

The seminary has a limited number of guest housing units available. At this point all of the apartments are full for Homecoming weekend, however there are still a few inexpensive dorm-style single rooms available. Some with a shared hall bath and kitchen are available for men only in North Wing, and a few suites (two single rooms with a shared bath) are available for anyone on another hall in the Kerr building. If you are interested in staying in one of these rooms/suites, please email [email protected], and include the dates and which of the above room types you are requesting.

There are also many great inns, hotels, and other local accommodations near campus and around the North Shore. Here are a few recommendations.

Can my kids come?

  • Kids and teens are very welcome to join for meals and many of the activities through the weekend!
  • We are very excited that staff from Gordon College’s La Vida Center for Outdoor Education will be leading initiative games and activities for kids ages 6 and above, including teens, during the seminar times and President Sunquist’s address. Please be sure to let us know on the registration form that your kids will be coming, and give us their ages.

How can I participate if I can't join you on campus?

If you are unable to attend our Homecoming Celebrations in either June or September, some parts of each weekend will be livestreamed. We will share more details about that here on this page closer to each event.

Even if you can’t come, please share some of your memories, photos and/or a video with us so that we can include them in our festivities! Please see below for instructions about how to do this.

Whether or not you can come to one of the Homecoming Celebrations, we hope you’ll share some stories, favorite memories, photos, and testimonies with us! We will use these in various settings throughout our time together at the Hamilton Homecoming.
