Dr. David F. Wells Scholarship for Teaching Ministry - Gordon Conwell

Named in honor of Dr. David F. Wells, longtime theology professor at Gordon- Conwell who embodies the Seminary’s commitment to academic excellence, the Dr. David F. Wells Scholarship for Teaching Ministry is a $17,500/year scholarship granted to up to two applicants for full-time study, beginning in the fall semester.  Recipients of this award will demonstrate exceptional promise for teaching ministry and academic work upon graduation from Gordon-Conwell and will reflect the Seminary’s commitment to “think theologically” in service to the Church. Recipients must have received a GPA of 3.5 or higher at an accredited undergraduate institution and must complete their application for admission to Gordon-Conwell and the Merit Scholarship Application by February 1st. This scholarship is renewable each year of full-time study.
