Join Gordon-Conwell and guest facilitator Stacy Sampson in this NBCC ACEP accredited training on Supervision from an Adlerian Theoretical Perspective.

Alfred Adler (1870-1937), was a medical doctor, psychotherapist, and the founder of Adlerian psychology, also known as Individual Psychology. Adler’s unique perspective for his time took a holistic approach, seeing one’s internal and external—that is, social or communal—lives as being equally important. This workshop will delve into Adler’s core principles and equip participants to utilize them, as applicable, in counseling and supervising roles.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand aspects of Alfred Adler and Adlerian theory.
  2. Identify key Adlerian concepts, including early childhood recollections, striving for meaning, individual as a whole person, and strengths based approach
  3. Apply Adlerian theory and techniques into working with supervisees.

*The event offers 2 CE hours for continuing education.
