This forum focuses on a theological framework for ministerial practice in postmodern times. The goals are to serve the present age with increased mental health awareness, to incorporate trauma-informed insights into the work of ministry, to recognize thresholds of referral, and to effectively collaborate with the mental health community without compromising the institutional identity, vision, mission, and orthodoxy of the Christian Church. Special attention will be given to how these goals might be achieved in historically underserved communities.
The Dean’s Forum discussion is free and is open to the public. Lunch is included. RSVP is required for those who are planning to attend in person, or you can watch the livestream on Facebook.
Register by Monday, October 21
