Evangelism and Discipleship in the Local Church with President Sunquist
January 16 – January 20
Examine the content and communication of the gospel within various cultural contexts in this one-week intensive course on evangelism and discipleship in local church contexts, taught by President Sunquist.
About the Course: This class will focus on the content of the gospel, how the gospel is to be presented, and how it is Good News in various contexts. We will look at how Jesus presented the message of peace and reconciliation to different people in his ministry and how our different cultural and social contexts shape the message of evangelism and discipleship. Location: Southpoint Community Church (Jacksonville, FL) & Online
Times:
6:00–9:00 p.m. | Tuesday (1/16)–Friday (1/19)
9:00–4:00 p.m. | Saturday (1/20)
How to Enroll:
- New students: Learn about enrollment options by contacting our Admissions Department for application information.
- As a student or official auditor: Register, as usual, through SONIS.
- As an unofficial auditor: Visit EventBrite.
In-Person Attendance: Enrolled students and official & unofficial auditors
Online Attendance: For enrolled students and official auditors only
The option to unofficially audit this course is for in-person attendance only in Jacksonville or at one of the pre-approved hub sites. If you would like to join the course online, you will need to register as an enrolled student or official auditor through Gordon-Conwell’s Registration Office.
