Rev. Dr. Robert L. Morris Jr. (DMin ’96), alumnus and member of the Jacksonville Board of Advisors, recently published Love Like Jesus. Reflecting on the number of Christians who desire deeper spiritual maturity and feel they haven’t grown much since becoming believers, Morris points to the Beatitudes as a starting point for spiritual formation. Love Like Jesus is a sequel to Morris’ first book, Pray Like Jesus, which explores how Jesus’ six recorded prayers guide believers in their own spiritual discipline of prayer.

Having served as a pastor for over forty-five years in Jacksonville, Morris now serves on the Young Life staff where his ministry work first began.
