    Enhancing Education with Hybrid Hubs

Instruction is delivered through our hub model across 4 cities in Ghana—Accra, Ashaiman, Akatsi, and Kumasi—and students experience a hybrid learning environment. Gordon-Conwell faculty provide live instruction via Zoom, and local Ghanaian hub mentors provide course support, facilitate group discussion, and help students apply what they are learning. Gordon-Conwell works with Global Theological Seminary to equip library and IT staff to directly support students.

Most of these students are currently in pastoral or lay ministry. Some will grow their churches and plant others in the region. Others will continue into doctoral programs to eventually teach at Global Theological Seminary or other African seminaries. All will be equipped with a Gordon-Conwell education and be able to effectively bring the good news of the gospel to all of Africa and nations around the world.

I am extremely confident by completion of the entire course I will have acquired excellent skills to achieve my goal.

Studying at GCTS is a golden opportunity I will never want to lose for anything else.

      Franklin

I am the senior pastor and founder of Hosanna Kharismatic Paradise and Hosanna mission school complex, a Christian mission school whichaims at teaching and raising children with God’s Word in their early life. We are located in Klikor, an idolatrous community which always hate to hear God’s word. Our mission is to bring hope to the people to liberate many from idol worship. We do these by establishing mission school to catch them young and establish disciple making churches in all the villages of Klikor.

I believe with the knowledge and impart I will receive from GCTS my understanding in leadership will be broadened so that I can do more by going on other missionary journeys to most of such communities. We also believe in touching the less privilege in society so as to help them unleash their God-given talents.

      Gameli

I am from Anyako, a fishing community in the Volta Region of Ghana, with 30% of the inhabitants still in idol worship. I was born in a polygamous family of 21 children to my dad and six children to my mum.

In my church, I am a singer, a Bible study leader, lay preacher, and I help the youth to realize their God-given potential through counseling and one-on-one Bible study. I’m a gifted music composer, public speaker and inspirational writer.

In the next five years, I hope to realize my dream of becoming a lecturer after attaining a doctoral degree. My Gordon-Conwell education will not only give me motivation to academically push myself towards the goal of higher learning, but it will also help me become a transformational leader, a better disciple of Jesus Christ, and an effective discipler.

I trained as an accounts officer and a procurement specialist by profession. I am a Presbyter, a session member, treasurer, a lay preacher, and marriage counselor—all by God’s grace.

      Prosper

I am from Sogakope in the Volta Region, but I live in Tema near Accra with my wife and 2 children. I have pastored a congregation of 500 people in the city for the past 3 years, and I want to increase my membership to 800 in the next 5 years. Most especially, I want to deepen the congregation’s understanding of God’s mission for his church.

My Gordon-Conwell education so far has given me a deeper understanding of the mind of God concerning his people in the Old Testament and the hope he offers in the New Testament. My education will help me move my congregation to the next level as my exposition of God’s word will be deeper and more theological. I am confident that what the Lord has started through me in my local church will see great transformation in the lives of many in the church and the community at large because of my education.
