Named in honor of Adoniram Judson Gordon—preacher, writer, composer, and founder of Gordon College and Divinity School—the A.J. Gordon Ministry Scholarship is awarded to up to five applicants annually. This scholarship is renewable, covers 75% of tuition and recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional promise for ministry upon graduation from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Recipients will embody the Seminary’s commitment to “live biblically” in service to the Church and must show:
• Proven experience in ministry
• A clear calling to vocational ministry in the local church, para-church organizations, or global missions
To be considered, applicants must complete both their application for admission and the Scholarship Application by July 5.
The scholarship automatically renews each year for students who remain in good standing—academically, financially, and within the Seminary community—throughout their degree program.
