Awarded to a maximum of two applicants. The Chaplaincy Scholarship offers a 50% scholarship towards tuition. Recipients of this award must express the desire to serve the Church as a chaplain (e.g., hospital chaplain, military chaplain, etc) upon graduation from the Seminary. Applicants must complete their application for admission to Gordon-Conwell and the Scholarship Application by July 5. This scholarship automatically renews each year of study as recipients remain in good standing (academically, financially, and in the community). The scholarship can also be combined with military scholarships, grants like the Yellow Ribbon Program, and tuition assistance given to military chaplain candidates, if applicable.
