The Christopher Brown Scholarship was created in honor of alumnus, Christopher Brown. Christopher was a student of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary – Charlotte pursuing a call to kingdom work as a second career. A dedicated husband, father and servant of Christ, Christopher was known for his involvement in the church and his community.
The Christopher Brown Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship designed to provide financial assistance to Gordon-Conwell students in Networked Education. The seminary will award $1,600 annually ($1,600 to one student or $800 to two students). This scholarship is not automatically renewed.
Eligibility
- • Be a new or returning student in Networked Education
- • Be a part-time or full-time student taking at least 3 classes throughout the academic year
- • Have a demonstrated financial need through FAFSA or in writing
- • It is expected but not required that chosen student(s) maintain a 3.0 GPA
