Awarded to a maximum of two applicants. Named in honor of Dr. Douglas G. Pratt, senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs, the Dr. Douglas G. Pratt Scholarship is a full-tuition scholarship granted to two applicants who demonstrate a call to pastoral ministry in the local church, have the capacity to lead a large congregation, and show exceptional promise as a future pastor who is Evangelical in their theology. For part-time students, a minimum of 15 hours per calendar year required (6-year max term to finish degree).
Full-time student recipients will also be required to attend two weeks of intentional mentoring and experiential learning at First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs, FL during the month of January. Part-time students can visit Bonita Springs during pursuit of MDiv at a date determined by Bonita Springs and the student.
Applicants must complete the application for admission to Gordon-Conwell and the Scholarship Application by July 5. This scholarship is renewable each year of study. Students must remain in good standing to continue receiving the scholarship each term.
