Chaplaincy Day

Whether you are a current Gordon-Conwell or Gordon College student, in-person or virtual, a local pastor or a proud veteran—Chaplaincy Day is free and open to the public.
This event has three parts:
- Chaplaincy Representatives in the Great Hall
Chaplains and chaplain recruiters from various chaplaincy entities (military, health care, prison, law enforcement) will have tables, swag, and friendly faces to meet you. Drop by any time during the day to speak with these representatives about opportunities and processes. - Free Informational Lunch in Alumni Hall
(12:00–1:15 p.m.) Hear from Rev. Dr. CH. Mike Stewart of the PRCC* speak on The Amazing Ministry of Chaplaincy as well as hear from a panel of representatives from various chaplaincies represented (all military branches, national guard, health care, prison, law enforcement). Lunch is free, and registration is required for both in-person and online. - Targeted Chaplaincy Entity Meetings, in-person and via Zoom
If you are interested in a focused, uninterrupted time hearing about a specific kind of chaplaincy, every forty-five minutes in Kerr 418, representatives from specific chaplaincies will be presenting their ministry. Come in person or join via Zoom.

Chaplaincy Day is hosted by the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary Career Services Office.
*Lunch is generously being provided by the Presbyterian & Reformed Commission on Chaplains (PRCC). Speaker Dr. Michael Stewart serves as the Associate Endorser of Civilian Chaplains for the Presbyterian and Reformed Commission on Chaplains and Military Personnel. (PRCC). He is an ordained Presbyterian Church in America minister having served two decades as the Director of Pastoral Care at Piedmont Columbus Regional Healthcare in Columbus, Georgia.
