Join us for an online workshop hosted by the Gordon-Conwell—Charlotte Counseling Department titled Sex Therapy: Incorporating Spiritual and Faith-based Perspectives. The workshop will be held on Friday, November 12 from 1:00 – 4:30 p.m., and it will feature alumnae Louise Suggs as the presenter.

Presenter: Louise Suggs, LCHMC and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist
Louise Suggs is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2008 with her Master of Arts in Christian Counseling. She is an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and works with individuals who have issues with intimacy in their relationship.

Learning Objectives: 
1. Define sex therapy, differentiate it from other forms of psychosexual coaching and education.
2. Discuss some of the common physical diagnoses and list medical professionals that assist in the treatment of those diagnoses.
3. Identify how emotional intimacy impacts clients in sex therapy.
4. Recognize some of the spiritual and faith-based aspects of sex therapy and how they may influence the therapeutic process
