International Students - Hamilton
A limited number of tuition scholarships are available to those students studying at Gordon-Conwell's South Hamilton campus on an F-1 visa. Only those students who are committed to returning to their native country to provide Christian leadership will be eligible for consideration. The scholarship is renewable for the duration of the degree program for those who maintain satisfactory academic performance.
Scholarships are awarded to students only at the beginning of their program of studies at Gordon-Conwell. If a student enrolls without an International Student Scholarship, he/she will not be eligible to apply for the scholarship at a later date.
International applicants who wish to be considered for a tuition scholarship should complete the admissions application process by December 5 preceding the date of expected matriculation.
The Global Church Scholarship is granted to 10 applicants for full-time study, beginning in the fall semester, and is renewable each year. This $5,000* per year scholarship is available to international students in any master’s program. Recipients of this award will demonstrate outstanding leadership potential for serving the global Church. Applicants must complete their admissions application process by December 5. This scholarship is renewable each year of study.
*Scholarship is actually $500 per course; most full-time students take 10 courses per year.
|This scholarship fund has been established to assist full-time degree students of Canadian citizenship with a goal to serve a church in Canada. To apply, send a letter to the attention of the Financial Aid Committee outlining your qualifications for scholarship consideration and your future ministry goals. Scholarship assistance may be awarded up to half of tuition costs, funds permitting.|
|Made possible through the generosity of friends of the Seminary, the "Pastors for Africa" scholarship was received for the first time by a new student in the 2010 Fall Semester. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide full tuition and financial assistance to an African international student. Selection is based on: a) the student wishes to pursue the Master of Divinity degree, b) the student is originally born in and currently resides in Africa, c) the student demonstrates experience and commitment to small group leadership, spiritual formation, and disciple-building. The recipient will agree to return to minister and spread the Gospel in Africa and will agree to complete his/her studies at the seminary within a three-year time period. This scholarship is only available for the Master of Divinity degree program. Applicants must complete their admissions application process by December 5. This scholarship is renewable each year of study.|
|This scholarship is granted to up to two applicants for full-time study, beginning in the fall semester. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide full tuition. Recipients of this award will demonstrate exceptional promise in academic work and for ministry in their home country upon graduation from Gordon-Conwell. Applicants must complete their admissions application process by December 5. This scholarship is renewable each year of study.|
|The CentriHall Scholarship is made possible through the generosity of friends of the Seminary. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a Chinese international student committed to return to serve in China after completing their degree at the Seminary. The recipient will agree to return to China within a three-year time period of the start of their degree. The scholarship will give up to $10,000 for all three years of study. Applicants must complete their admissions application process by December 5. This scholarship is renewable each year of study.|
|The Arnold scholarship is granted to up to ten applicants from countries in the Majority World for full-time study, beginning in the fall semester. Recipients of the Arnold Scholarship are awarded $2,000 toward their first year of study. Selection is focused on students with demonstrated financial need, strong character, and outstanding leadership qualities and whose ministry experience demonstrates that they are a “trainer of trainers.” This scholarship will be dispersed at the rate of $1,000 at the start of the fall and spring semesters. Recipients must complete their application for admission to Gordon-Conwell by December 5. The recipients must return to their country upon graduation, as is the case with all international student scholarships, or they must re-pay the total scholarship amount to the Seminary. Again, this funding is only available for the first year of the program and is not renewable.|
